Searching for MONTHS for the bike that was calling me. Visited many websites and dealers in and around MD. Drove to VA ended up at Hernley's. Didnt know what i was doing as i searched all i know is that all bikes are nice looking with the exception of my new Indian Scout. My bike was waiting for me in PA. I did not know it at the time but i loved it the minute i laid eyes on it.

I cannot name anyone in particular because the entire crew at Hernley's made my visit comfortable. No hassle just information. Knowledge that i did not have. After countless of calls and email communication my bike and i were finally united.

Excellent buying experience and really enjoyed the extended test ride with the Indian team. Could ride any bike in the range through back of Elizabethtown. Duane and Bill know their product and not pushy. Only issue was finance for non USA citizen. Had to get that elsewhere. Would thoroughly recommend these guys over other dealerships in the area. Service was superior and readiness to allow test rides sealed the deal for me...and the fact I wanted a new Indian. Great bikes. Easy to handle even with 1133 cc.

Lucy and all the folks in parts and service do a great job of working with you on solving problems, and making the buying experience fun. When you have a new bike you want to purchase parts and accessories to make it unique and your own. These folks have been extremely patient with me every time I call and ask questions regarding parts compatibility, the labor involved, and options available from Indian. I really wish the owner of this dealership would open a shop down here in Northern Va. With the professional service and great Indian/Polaris product line they would make a fortune! I wish I had $1M or so....I would do it!

I have owned Polaris products since the purchase of my first Victory Vision back in 2008. I stopped by the Hernleys shop on my way back from Lancaster, PA and purchase a few parts for my Vision. Since then I have been up to the shop with my friends to participate in demo ride days, first ride on the new Indians, and various other events sponsored by this dealership. By far the best vehicle buying experience EVER. Bought an Indian Vintage in August and sales staff worked together (I had new salesman) to get me the deal that I was looking for. Have been back several times for accessory install and 500 mile service and had great experience each time. Besides the fact that the Indian is an awesome bike, you should definitely check out Hernley's before you buy. Looking forward to dealing with them for many years!

Picked up my new Indian today after months of torturing Duane with questions and "maybe I will, maybe I won't". Love, Love the bike! Duane made the buying experience much more pleasant for me than I made it for him, but in the end I guess it worked out for both of us. My Indian is beautiful and I'm proud to be seen on it. Amazing how proud I was just walking around in the Indian t-shirt! Awesome bike, awesome experience, I would definitely be happy to buy from Hernley's again.

While on vacation we decided to see if we could trade our Star motorcycle in toward an Indian Chieftain. Duane went out of his way trying to give us the best deal possible. Everyone we dealt with was extremely helpful and professional. Our only complaint is we won't be able to continue using Duane's dealership for service and such, unless we are on vacation again. We would like to thank Duane and his staff for such a wonderful experience. We cannot recommend him enough to potential customers in his area.

My 14 Chieftain is hands down the best motorcycle I ever owned. I've been riding for 30 years and had just about all manufactures at one time or another. This is the cats meow of cruisers. I was nervous at first with the weight with me being a sport bike kind of guy and at first I was a bit wobbly but within a few days I'm throwing this thing around like a cafe racer. Wonderful back road twisties handling. And on the highway it's like a freight train. The exhaust is thundering and I love "getting on it" if anything just to hear the exhaust notes. And yes I get all the attention on the road or stopped for gas. It gets a lot of looks. You can see it on the faces of others...everything was fine until the Indian rode by......

I purchased my 2014 Chieftain on May 9th and I have over 4500 miles on it and today is July 7th. The bike rides so smooth and comfortable, and I cant say enough about passing speed in 5th and 6th gear. The bike has big brass ones. You can start letting off of the throttle when you get to the rear bumper of the vehicle you are passing. The low center of gravity and clearance make it smooth and low going thru curves. My old bike used to scream bloody murder when climbing hills. The new Indian yawns it's way up mountain roads with barely and increase in throttle. I love having the Bluetooth stereo. I never used to listen to music while riding, now I hate to go without it. There is nothing nicer than cruising down the road listening to a blues station on Pandora radio. It makes a crappy ride enjoyable. But that's just my preference. Great job Polaris. I can't wait to see the 2015 lineup. If you live in the Northeast give Dwayne Hernley a call and schedule a test ride. He's a great guy to deal with. You wont be sorry.

My husband and I were on a long trip around the United States. We are both retired. He has a Goldwing and I ride a Victory Cross-roads. I bought a 2014 Highball this Spring and it was probably the best buying experience of my life. My first visit to Hernleys was about 3 or 4 years ago after seeing a few Victory's in the Memorial Day Parade. I loved the look of the Victory. Jim Dever was so patient with me over a long period of time. He would call occassionally but was never pushy, just informative. It took me a long time to come around to the idea of switching from Harley but I LOVE MY NEW BIKE! I ride it far more often than I ever rode my Harley. When I was finally ready Jim worked out a great deal for me, the financing was quick and easy with a great rate. The Parts and Service guys have been very helpful as well. Have always been a Harley family and when we saw the new Indian unveiling we figured it was something worth looking into. Hernley's was the closest dealer so away we went. An hour later we walked into the showroom and the first words I heard whispered from my wife upon seeing the black Indian Chief Vintage were, "Holy s**t. That is one beautiful bike." That very same bike is now in our garage. Duane was low pressure knowing the bike would sell itself but was there to answer any questions we had and I had a lot. I once sold Harleys for a living and asked a lot of serious questions. Duane answered every question I had and was great about it. We found all of the employees very pleasant to deal with and ready to help all of their customers in any way they could. While there we also met other Indian owners and they all seemed to be so proud of their bikes and now we can easily see why. We are too.
